Built Tough. Closes Secure. Ready for Every Session.
The Ultimate Guard Boulder Deck Case 100+ in Solid Black is the kind of deck box that earns its place in your bag through sheer reliability. Constructed from Ultimate Guard's signature high-density polypropylene, the Boulder has a rigid, no-flex shell that protects your deck from the bumps and pressure of tournament bags, backpacks, and the bottom of a crowded game table. The matte black finish keeps things clean and understated — this is a box built to work, not to show off.
Capacity & Sleeve Compatibility
The 100+ sizing is where this box lives its best life. It comfortably fits 100 single-sleeved cards — your standard Commander or constructed deck — and is designed with enough interior width to accommodate double-sleeved cards as well. If you run inner sleeves under your Dragon Shields or KMC Hyper Mattes, the Boulder 100+ has room. That double-sleeve compatibility is a genuine premium detail and a primary reason serious players choose this box over thinner alternatives.
Closure & Access
The Boulder uses a secure snap closure that holds firmly during transport without requiring a tool or two hands to pop open. The lid design keeps the box shut when it needs to be shut and out of the way when you're drawing your opening hand. A well-placed thumb notch makes accessing your deck quick and natural — no fishing around, no awkward tilting. For players who shuffle and draw repeatedly across a long tournament day, that access design matters more than it might seem at first.
Who This Box Is For
The Boulder 100+ Solid Black is the go-to choice for the no-fuss competitive player who wants a reliable daily carry without a premium price tag. It's equally at home on a Commander table where you want your 100-card build protected between games. The solid black colorway is subtle enough to pair with any sleeve colour and professional enough for a tournament setting. If you're buying a first serious deck box or replacing a beat-up case that's finally given up, this is the straightforward answer.
