The Rich and the Good – Board Game
Overview
In The Rich and the Good, wealth alone won’t guarantee you victory. Set in a world of lavish living, cunning trade, and unexpected crises, players must balance two often conflicting goals: amassing riches while also demonstrating generosity through charitable donations. Only those who combine sharp financial instincts with a good public reputation can rise above the rest.
How to Play
-
Invest and Trade: Use your funds to buy and sell valuable shares and properties, anticipating market shifts and timing your deals for maximum profit.
-
Give or Keep: Throughout the game, you’ll face choices—hoard your fortune for final scoring or donate to charity to improve your reputation.
-
Outmaneuver Rivals: Outwit other players by reading their intentions, cutting smart deals, and leveraging opportunities that others miss.
-
Victory Condition: At the end, the wealthiest player only wins if they’ve donated enough to charity. A selfish millionaire risks losing to a less-rich but more generous rival.
