New Voices. New Mobile Suits. New Battlefield.
The Gundam Card Game has grown at a remarkable pace since launch — over 500 million cards shipped globally, more than 700,000 event participants worldwide, and a competitive scene that keeps expanding with every new set. Phantom Aria is the fourth main booster expansion, and it's one of the most significant releases in the game's short history. Releasing worldwide on April 25, 2026, GD04 brings two beloved Gundam series to the card game for the first time: Mobile Suit Victory Gundam and Turn A Gundam. For fans of either series, this is the set they've been waiting for. For everyone else, it's a meaningful expansion to what's already a deep and rewarding TCG.
Each Booster Box contains 24 packs of 12 cards plus 1 token per pack — a substantial haul that covers everything from deck-building staples to high-rarity chases across one of anime's most storied franchises.
Victory Gundam, Turn A, and a Game-Changing New Mechanic
GD04 introduces Victory Gundam units as Blue cards and Turn A Gundam units as White cards, filling out colour identities that have been building toward these archetypes since Origins. Beyond the new series, Phantom Aria marks a genuine mechanical milestone: characters from previously featured series appearing in new colours for the first time. Suletta Mercury and Sophie Pulone from Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury, for example, make their Green card debut here — opening up cross-series deck combinations that weren't possible before this set. The result is a broader, more flexible metagame where established pilots find new homes and new strategic roles.
The set's 151 card types (135 base plus 16 additional) span five rarities plus tokens and resource cards, with 44 alternate-art treatments distributed across rarities for collectors and players who want premium versions of their favourite units. Legend Rares are the top of the pull pyramid at 12 types, alongside 5 Special cards that round out the chase slots. Alternate-art cards appear at multiple rarity levels, meaning there are collectible targets regardless of how deep you're willing to go.
