Build Towers and Control the Landscape
The defining feature of this expansion is the introduction of tower segments and tower tiles. When you place a tile containing a tower foundation, you may begin constructing a tower by stacking wooden segments vertically.
The taller the tower grows, the farther it can “see” across the surrounding tiles. From its elevated vantage point, a tower can capture an opponent’s meeple anywhere within its line of sight. This mechanic adds a powerful new strategic option—disrupting cities, stealing control of roads, or preventing an opponent from scoring a massive farm.
Captured followers are held for ransom, introducing a clever negotiation element to the game.
