Trade Goods & Market Strategy
One of the most exciting additions in Traders & Builders is the introduction of trade goods. Certain city tiles now display valuable commodities—wine, cloth, and grain. When a city containing these goods is completed, the player who finishes the city collects the trade tokens.
At the end of the game, players with the most of each commodity receive significant bonus points, introducing a new layer of long-term strategy. Instead of focusing solely on roads, cities, and farms, players must now decide whether completing an opponent’s city might actually benefit them through trade rewards.
This mechanic subtly shifts player incentives and encourages more dynamic interactions across the growing map.
