Starfall – A Race to the Stars
Overview
Look up to the night sky and discover a universe full of wonders. Starfall is a fast-paced, tactical board game where players compete to collect celestial phenomena and build the most awe-inspiring tableau of cosmic discoveries. Designed by Scott Almes (Tiny Epic series), this clever bidding and set-collection game combines accessible gameplay with strategic depth, making it a perfect addition to any game night.
How to Play
In Starfall, players take on the role of astronomers gazing at the heavens, eager to be the first to identify stars, moons, planets, black holes, and other astronomical marvels.
-
Each round, new celestial cards are revealed into the night sky.
-
Players take turns either bidding resources to claim a card, dropping the cost of a card to make it more affordable, or passing to conserve their resources.
-
Timing is everything: Do you spend big now to secure a rare discovery, or wait and risk an opponent snapping it up for less?
At the end of the game, players score points by completing sets of celestial bodies, achieving special objectives, and collecting the rarest phenomena.
