Overview

In 7 Wonders: Edifice, players continue the familiar rhythm of drafting cards and developing their wonders—but now, a shared set of Community Projects sits at the heart of the table. Each game features two Edifices, enormous construction undertakings that players may choose to support (or ignore) as history unfolds.

By contributing to these collective efforts, you can earn prestigious rewards and long-term advantages for your city. But beware—those who stand aside may find themselves facing penalties once the dust settles.

The expansion keeps the streamlined, elegant flow that has made 7 Wonders a modern classic, while adding meaningful choices and social dynamics that make every age feel alive with tension and opportunity.

New Mechanics: Cooperation Meets Calculation

Each Edifice represents a grand, multi-stage construction project: a Great Lighthouse, a Colossus, an Oracle, or other legendary structures of the ancient world.

At the start of each age, new Edifices are revealed. Players may contribute resources to their construction during their turns, marking their involvement with a special token.

• Support the project: Earn immediate bonuses or long-term strategic advantages.

• Ignore it: Preserve your resources but risk facing the consequences when others complete it without you.

The expansion cleverly balances individual optimization with collective progress, challenging players to read the table and anticipate when teamwork truly pays off.
