Magic: The Gathering – Marvel Super Heroes

The Marvel Universe has landed on Magic: The Gathering's battlefield, and it's bringing the full roster with it. Magic: The Gathering – Marvel Super Heroes is a Standard-legal Universes Beyond set releasing June 26, 2026, and it's the most expansive Marvel collaboration Wizards of the Coast has produced to date. An all-star lineup of heroes and villains leaps from the comics to the card game — Captain America, Iron Man, and dozens more — each with mechanics built to capture their iconic powers, gear, and signature moments. Whether you've been playing Magic for years or you've always wanted a reason to start, this is a set that bridges two of the biggest fandoms in entertainment history.

The Magic: The Gathering Marvel Super Heroes product line is one of the most diverse WotC has assembled for a single set. Play Booster Boxes are the cornerstone of the release — each containing 36 Play Booster packs with 14 cards each — perfect for draft nights, sealed events, and stocking a collection with competitive-playable cards. Collector Booster Boxes deliver 12 packs loaded with foil treatments, extended-art cards, and exclusive finishes for players who want the most striking versions of their favourite Marvel characters. The set also marks the return of Commander Decks to a Marvel release — four unique decks are available, each with a Collector's Edition variant — alongside a Jumpstart Booster Box, Draft Night kits, Bundle, Gift Bundle, Scene Boxes (Heroes United and Villains Unleashed), and a Beginner Box built around a Captain America vs. Iron Man guided battle. Prerelease events give local game stores the chance to be the first to crack packs ahead of the official street date.

Beyond sealed product, the Marvel Super Heroes set is already generating serious interest among collectors hunting for specific foil treatments and extended-art versions of their favourite characters. Pair your sealed pulls with quality card sleeves to protect every rare and mythic you open, and keep your Commander builds organized in a deck box built for double-sleeved cards. If you're collecting toward a full set or curating a binder of Marvel favourites, a quality card binder keeps your best cards display-ready and protected.
