Games Workshop – Warhammer & Citadel Paints

Build Your Army, Paint Your Legend

Games Workshop is the name behind Warhammer, the miniatures wargaming hobby that has filled tabletops for decades. Every army starts with a box of sprues and a plan, and from there it becomes something personal: models you assembled, painted and led into battle yourself. Few hobbies combine building, painting, storytelling and strategy the way Warhammer does. Whether you're a brand-new recruit looking for a first starter set, a veteran expanding a collection, or shopping for the hobbyist in your life, our Games Workshop range covers the models, paints and tools that make the hobby what it is.

Most players start with one of the two big settings. Warhammer 40,000 is grimdark science fiction, from Space Marines and Astra Militarum to Orks, Necrons and Tyranids, with Combat Patrol boxes that give you a ready-to-play force in a single purchase. Warhammer Age of Sigmar brings the same depth to fantasy battles, with Spearhead boxes designed for faster, smaller games. Kill Team offers squad-sized skirmishes that are perfect for a night at the store. Alongside the armies you'll find the Citadel Colour system: Base, Layer, Shade and Contrast paints, spray primers, brushes, plastic glue and the tools that take a model from grey plastic to finished centrepiece. Building out your paint rack? Our full miniature paints and primers section brings every brand together in one place.

Boreal Gaming is Niagara's local game store, and the wargaming community is a big part of who we are. Shop online with shipping across Canada or local pickup in the Niagara region, or visit in store to talk armies, paint schemes and where to start. Our team is happy to point new players to the right starter box, suggest colours for a first paint job, and help returning hobbyists track down the next unit on their list.
