Magic: The Gathering | Reality Fracture Shiny Playmat - Planeswalker 5/ Planeswalker 9

A Fracture in the Multiverse, Rendered in Shine

The Reality Fracture Shiny Playmat pulls you straight into the splintering chaos of the Magic: The Gathering multiverse. The shiny finish gives the artwork a luminous, eye-catching quality — light catches it differently from every angle, making the fracturing reality effect feel genuinely dynamic on your table. Whether you're running a Planeswalker-heavy Commander deck or simply want a mat that turns heads at your local game store, this one commands attention before a single card is laid down.

Surface and Build Quality

Gamegenic is known for producing accessories that serious players trust, and this mat upholds that reputation. The cloth surface provides a smooth, consistent feel that keeps cards gliding cleanly during draws and shuffles without catching or dragging. Underneath, a rubber base delivers the grip needed to keep the mat locked in place throughout long games — no creeping edges, no bunching mid-match. Stitched edges finish the mat with a clean, durable border that resists fraying over time, a detail that separates a mat built to last from one that starts to unravel after a season of play.

Dimensions and Use

This is a standard single-player playmat sized to comfortably accommodate your zones, dice, tokens, and graveyard without crowding. It rolls for storage and transport, making it easy to slip into a backpack alongside your deck box for Friday Night Magic, prereleases, or casual kitchen table sessions. The shiny treatment makes it equally at home displayed flat on a desk or shelf between games.

Who This Mat Is For

This mat is aimed squarely at Magic: The Gathering fans who appreciate officially licensed artwork and want their setup to reflect their love of the game's lore and aesthetic. The Planeswalker series framing — catalogued here as Planeswalker 5 of 9 — makes it a compelling piece for collectors working through the full run. It also makes a strong gift for any MTG player who has everything except a mat that genuinely excites them.
