What You’re Getting

With Land vs Sea: Uncharted Expansion, you’ll receive:

• 22 (or 24 in some printings) entirely new terrain/sea tiles, featuring new shapes and art to mix into your base game setup. 

• Three new modular scoring mechanisms, which layer on top of the base rules to create richer strategy and varied endgame possibilities. 

• New thematic elements such as menhirs forming ley lines, trade routes, bandits/pirates raiding routes, and city placements on land/sea areas.

• A mix-in design: this is not a standalone game — you’ll need your copy of Land vs Sea to play. 

• Playtime and player count remain accessible: designed for 2–4 players and around 40–60 minutes depending on setup and scoring modules chosen. 

How It Plays

Like the base game, players take turns placing double-sided hexagonal tiles to extend the land and sea regions, aiming to complete areas and earn points. The Uncharted Expansion introduces optional scoring layers that add new objectives—such as connecting ley lines across the map, linking distant ports, or securing trade routes before your opponents. Each module can be added or removed independently, letting you customize the experience to your group’s preference.
