Every Second Counts
The building is burning. Somewhere inside, people are trapped. You and your crew have a matter of moments to coordinate, communicate, and act — because in Flash Point: Fire Rescue, hesitation costs lives. This is a cooperative game where the pressure never lets up, where one wrong move can turn a manageable situation into a flashover, and where a well-timed rescue feels genuinely earned.
Fighting Fires Together
From Indie Boards and Cards, Flash Point: Fire Rescue puts players in the roles of firefighters responding to a structure fire. Each turn, players spend action points to move through the building, knock down flames, open doors, and carry victims to safety — all while the fire spreads and explosions punch through walls. The building itself is dynamic and destructive: hotspots escalate into fires, fires cause explosions, and explosions compromise the structural integrity of the building. Rescue enough victims and you win. Lose too many — or let the building collapse — and the whole crew fails together.
The cooperative format makes this a natural fit for groups who want to strategize and communicate rather than compete. Every player's move matters, and coordinating as a team to prioritize threats versus rescues is where the real game lives.
Who Belongs at This Table
Flash Point plays two to six players, and it genuinely shines with three to five — enough to split roles and cover ground without overcrowding decisions. The rulebook includes a family rules variant that eases new players in, and a more advanced mode that adds specialized firefighter roles and deeper tactical choices. At its core it sits in the medium-weight range: accessible enough for teens and engaged families, substantial enough to satisfy players who want meaningful decisions and real tension. Games typically run sixty to ninety minutes.
What's in the Box
This copy is described as in overall good condition — check the photos for a clear look at component state before purchasing. Flash Point is known for its modular game board representing the structure under siege, custom dice that drive fire spread and explosions, and the mounting dread of watching a building deteriorate turn by turn. The game supports multiple building layouts, giving it strong replay value even after many plays.
